It is located in one of the most important touristic and cultural cities in Europe, it also includes modern facilities and is surrounded by magnificent gardens, green spaces and the landscapes of the Garraf natural park.
This ideal location is perfect for a summer camp because it is well connected to the metropolitan area of Barcelona (10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the centre of Barcelona) and our friendly staff have designed fun and engaging classes and activities to ensure that our campers have an unforgettable experience!
INTERNATIONAL Camp focused on Spanish and international boys and girls between 5 and 14 years old. 60% of Spanish students are guaranteed. The Barcelona camp contributes to personal enrichment thanks to a modern and enjoyable programme, always taking into account current trends and age groups.

SPANISH LESSONS
Both the content and materials of the summer Spanish courses and the teaching methodology aim to achieve the perfect balance of fun and rigour so that our young learners get the most out of their Spanish course.
This is the only time of the day when the Spanish students will be separated from the foreign students, and they will be reunited at the end of the classes.
The English and Spanish classes in Barcelona will take place:
Mornings: Monday to Friday.
With 4 lessons of 45 minutes per day.
With a maximum of 15 students per class, an average of 8.
At the end of the program and once the course is completed, students will receive a certificate together with a progress report.
TEACHING
Our teaching team is made up of qualified native Spanish speaking and bilingual teachers with experience in teaching. With an average of 8 years’ experience teaching Spanish at our camps, our teachers’ motivation ensures that our young learners have fun while learning a language.
We want to help all our students to develop their ability to speak and understand Spanish. Our innovative teaching methodology provides personalised learning that combines lessons inside and outside, so that the student is the protagonist and not the teacher.
TEACHING METHODOLOGY
Our proven teaching methodology is based on learning through projects and actions. A practical method that makes students gain confidence and enjoy learning languages while working on real-life projects.
Students will work in teams, make proposals and come up with ideas about their project, evaluate solutions, assign tasks to each member, decide on the means by which they will present the project (video, photos, posters, presentation, etc.), select the materials and manage the time. In the meantime, they will learn and improve interpersonal skills.
DIDACTIC MATERIAL
The didactic material is focused and designed for each of the age groups and levels.
This material will be given to the student on the first day of class and will be complemented with other support materials to facilitate comprehension.
LANGUAGE LEVELS
The student’s level will be determined by a test on the first day of class. Students will be placed according to their age and the results of the test. The leveling of the language courses will be done according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, distributed in these 6 levels:
A1: Beginner.
A2: Elementary.
B1: Intermediate.
B2: Upper Intermediate.
C1: Advanced.
C2: Very Advanced.
CERTIFICATE
At the end of the course, each student will receive a detailed certificate and a personalised evaluation of the Spanish camp.

The daily program in Barcelona is designed so that students can practice as many sports as possible and participate in a varied list of workshops and recreational activities, always focused on the different age groups.
In addition to all these included activities, the camp also offers tennis and football lessons.
TRIPS
Students will enjoy at least one full-day trip from Barcelona and two half-day excursions per fortnight.
We organize these excursions so that our students, both foreign and Spanish, can get to know the wide variety of historical and cultural attractions that the region of Catalonia has to offer.

At Barcelona Spanish Summer Camp Beach, our students stay in a fully equipped residence, located just a few minutes from the classrooms in the seaside resort of Castelldefels. A ten-minute walk from the beach and very close to the Olympic Canal, it is the perfect place for water sports enthusiasts.
The residence is located on the UPC University Campus, next to the beach.
The residence of our Barcelona Spanish Summer Camp Beach has single and double rooms, equipped with air conditioning and private bathroom.

Camp students participating in the residential program will be accommodated in the bedrooms of the residence, which consist of double rooms, all of which are exterior and have their own bathroom.

Barcelona has a bit of everything: Mediterranean beaches, dozens of museums, green parks and all the cultural attractions of one of Europe’s most admired cities.
The campsite is located just a few minutes from the heart of the city of Barcelona, in Castelldefels, which offers more than 5 km of fine sandy beaches. It is located right on the coast, between the Mediterranean Sea and the landscapes of the Garraf natural park.
Castelldefels is recognised as a Sports Tourism Destination by the Catalan Tourism Agency, making it an ideal place to live if you love outdoor activities. The student residence is within the UPC university in the metropolitan area of Barcelona and very well communicated: 10 minutes by car from the airport, 15 minutes by train or car from Barcelona and 10 minutes from the beach on foot.

TRANSFER SERVICES
Transfer from/to Airport, train or bus (95€ – 1 pax/ way. From 2 pax 60€ per person per way).
Transfers by car: Parents who wish can bring their children to the Camp on the starting day of the chosen fortnight, from 16:00 h onwards. At the end of the programme, parents can pick up their children between 10:00 and 14:00. Please inform your children of the pick-up time.
First payment: 20% of the total amount.
Second payment: The rest of payment should be done directly to the organiser.
